Training programme held

IMPHAL, Oct 16: A 'training programme on prevention and early identification of PWD' for male and female nurses  was held at Indian National Army (INA) Hall at Moirang, Bishnupur district today. National Institute for Empowerment of Persons With Intellectual Disabilities in association with State Commission for Persons with Disabilities and Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Manipur organised the event.
State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities Dr RK Kumarjit Singh, president Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Manipur P Gopendro Singh, All India Primary Teachers Federation Delhi organisation secretary A Keilyani and media advisor Relief centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Nimol Ningombam attended the event as presidium members.
Assistant Professor  National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities  (NIEPID) Secunderabad Dr G Mary Anurupa, Lecturer in Occupational Therapy NIEPID Hyderabad Mugesh Thulasikantham and Lecturer in Special Education NIEPID Regional Centre Navi Mumbai Ravi Prakash Singh attended training programme as resource persons.
