IMPHAL, Apr 2: Prof W Chandbabu Singh, Manipur Institute of Management Studies, Manipur University has assumed the office of the Vice Chancellor, Dhanamanjuri University (DMU) with effect from April 2, 2025.
Prof Chandbabu was appointed Vice Chancellor of DMU by an order issued by the Governor on March 8, 2025.
Prof Chandbabu will hold the office of the Vice Chancellor for a term of five years with effect from April 2, 2025 or until he attains the age of 70, whichever is earlier, said the order.
On assuming the office of the VC, teachers of DMU accorded a warm reception to Prof W Chandbabu today.
