22 arrested for power theft

Twenty two persons were arrested for power theft during raids conducted by MSPDCL officers and staff across the State today.
As per a notification, two individuals were arrested from Patsoi Part-Il area in Takyel Sub-division, one from Lamlong-1 Sub-division area, four from Lamlai Sub-division area, two from Charangpat, Yairipok Bamonleikai area in Yairipok Sub- division, four from Bishnupur Sub-division area, three from Nambol Sub-division area and six from Moirang Sub-division area. Additionally, the power connections of 18 consumers were disconnected.
