UG cadres arrested

IMPHAL, Apr 1: Five active members of KCP-Noyon were apprehended by police from different areas of Imphal East and Imphal West districts on March 31, 2025.
They have been identified as Khoisnam Sanajaoba (27) of Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai, Khoinaijam Robertson (24) of Chingmeirong Maning Leikai (presently staying at Sawombung Thongkhong), Soubam Rohit (23) of Soibam Leikai, Ayangpalli Road, Leishangthem Naobi (33) of Langol Game Village and Khaidem Nongpoknganba (25) of Lamlai Mayai Leikai.
One 9 mm pistol with a magazine loaded with three live rounds, one pistol holster, three mobile phones and two two-wheelers were recovered from their possession, according to a press release issued by the Police Control Room.
Earlier on March 29, 2025, security forces apprehended one active cadre of KCP (PWG) from a field on the eastern side of Tiddim Road, near Upoki village, Bishnupur district.
The arrested KCP(PWG) cadre has been identified as Salam Malemnganba alias Wanglen (23).
Another cadre of KCP(PWG), Lamyanba Khuman faction identified as Thoudam Suresh alias Lemba (34) was also arrested by security forces from Ningsingkhul, Jiribam on March 30, 2025.
