Arms, ammo recovered

IMPHAL, Apr 1: A number of arms, explosives and ammunition were recovered by security forces from Molnom-Senam area of Tengnoupal district on March 29.
The recovered arms and ammunition included three local made heavy mortar launchers, five metal IEDs, one IED weighing 5 Kgs, one country made 7.62 mm pistol with magazine, four live rounds of AK rifle ammunition, 6 live rounds of SLR ammunition, six live rounds of 12 Bore ammunition, 200 grams of gunpowder and two helmets.
The recovered IEDs were destroyed in situ and the remnants were deposited at Tengnoupal police station.
