RPF mourns

IMPHAL, Mar 29: The proscribed RPF and its armed wing PLA have offered revolutionary salute and condoled the demise of KYKL/MYL’s Lt Angom Sanatomba alias Engo (37) and PREPAK(Pro)’s Lance Corporal Maibam Naotonba alias Naatngakpa Meetei.
Lt Angom Sanatomba alias Engo (37) s/o late A Chadramani Meetei of Phayeng Mayai Leikai and PREPAK(Pro)’s Lance Corporal Maibam Naotonba alias Naatngakpa Meetei (18) s/o late M Hemanta Meetei and Maibam Ongbi Hemabati Devi of Serou Makha Leikai laid down their lives for the motherland in a battle fought against a combined force of the Indian Army and its proxy fighters on March 25, 2025, said a press release issued by the outfit’s Assistant Secretary, Publicity Bangkim.
The outfit has also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families, relatives and friends.
It also prayed that the departed souls of the two martyrs may rest in peace on the lap of the motherland.
