Ready to construct Eidgah, says MLA

IMPHAL, Jan 21 : Mayang Imphal AC MLA K Robindro has said that he is ready to construct an Eidgah at Mayang Imphal Bengoon if the people are willing to donate a land.
He made the statement after inaugurating a playground of All Mayang Imphal Muslim Youth Development Organisation (AMIMYDO) at Mayang Imphal Bengoon today.
Speaking at the function, the MLA continued that he will start constructing the Eidgah right from the next day people donate a land.
It is unfortunate that some section of people scheme often to create animosity among the Meetei and Meetei Pangal people. Stay away from people who spread hatred on social media, he appealed.
The MLA also attended a closing ceremony of a 4th State level senior mens' open volleyball tournament at the venue.
BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal president Irom Rabi, on the other hand, said that different initiatives being taken up by Robindro for the well being of Mayang Imphal people must be acknowledged.
