I unmasked you
Unravelling the filth
Concealed in love’s ruby
Red like a chronic ailment

I have been afflicted
For ages and ages
Picking away at the scabs
Stumbling unknowingly
Helpess uncalled for,

A passionate affair
Into  bountiful arms
Shred apart by time
Snatched away from life
To scramble through
The burning claws of fate
