Online tax payment for land and property taxes

Sir,
The State is always short of revenue which to a great extent is due to poor collection of taxes including land and property taxes in the Municipality region. There may be many reasons for it. One important reason is failure of the tax payers to take the trouble of going to the centers for collection of taxes which are usually far from their residence and the uncertainty of finding the right babu, the clerk concerned on the day and time of visit.
May I suggest to develop a system for ONLINE PAYMENT like the Income Tax Department, GST, Electricity. The Treasury Dept of the State Govt has made it very convenient for the pensioners particularly the old and sick persons, by allowing online photo taking on its mPension portal.
Needless to say one has to think out of box in keeping with time and circumstances.
