The Manipuri Literary & Cultural Forum, Tripura has conferred the Best Social Activist & Philanthropist Award 2024 to Rakesh Naorem from Tentha Khongbal, Thoubal district, Manipur.
As per a press release issued by Ipak Films Production , Manipur, Rakesh Naorem is currently serving as the secretary of Ipak Films Production Manipur and Patriotic Writers Forum Manipur, among others.
The award was handed over to the social worker during an event held at Sahitya Akademi Hall, Nazrul Kalakshetra Complex, Agartala in Tripura.
The award was handed over by Dr Usuksana, former HOD, Manipuri Department, Dhanamanjuri University.
The event was graced by RK Tarunjit, advisor, Manipuri Literary & Cultural Forum, Tripura; Dr Anuradha Moirangthem, Assistant Professor, NIT Agartala and Langoljam Birmangol, president, Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Tripura as presidium members.
