My Father

What role does fate ask you to play,
To guide me through each passing day?
With steady hands, you lead the way,
Through life’s storms and trials, you stay.
In times of sorrow, when I’m lost,
And hope feels distant, almost gone,
Father, you stand quietly strong,
Helping me through with hands so warm.
Before I pray to any god,
I bow to you, where peace is found.
I share my dreams, my worries too,
And in your care, strength comes around.
When I stray from the right path,
You guide me back with gentle hands.
Even when words aren’t always said,
Our silent bond, we understand.
At night, when fears begin to rise,
And insects hum under the skies,
The calls of birds bring comfort near,
And chase away a child’s deep fear.
You hold my hand and lead me on,
Brave and strong through every trial.
You are my father, my guiding light,
A source of love that shines so bright.
