BSF ADG takes stock of situation

IMPHAL, Jul 26 : Sh Ravi Gandhi, ADG BSF Eastern Command, Kolkata visited the State today to take stock of the prevailing law and order situation and review the operational preparedness of BSF.
During the visit, the ADG, accompanied by Sh Akhileshwar Singh, IG BSF Manipur and Cachar Frontier and other senior officers of BSF, visited various BSF companies deployed in Imphal East and Kakching districts.
He interacted with officers and troops deployed in Manipur and appreciated their relentless efforts and contribution in maintaining law and order in respective areas and further motivated them to carry out their duties relentlessly with utmost professionalism.
ADG Sh Ravi Gandhi also met and interacted with senior State Government officials including the DGP, Manipur Police and discussed the roles played by BSF in maintaining law and order in the State.
Later, the ADG BSF left for Nagaland to take stock of the operational preparedness of BSF in Nagaland, conveyed a press release issued by Hqs BSF CI (Ops) Manipur.
