Football : UCC destroy IYA 5-0

IMPHAL, Jul 18: UCC Kakching destroyed IYA Kakching 5-0 while WALYDA Wabagai and SRDC Kakching played a 1-1 draw match in the 2nd Division Football League today.

In the first match of the day at DSA Ground Kakching, SRDC led with one goal from N Dolton in the 47th minute.
M Bishal of WALYDA, however, found an equalizer in the 61st minute to make the scoreline 1-1.
Both teams failed to score a winning goal until the end of the match.
UCC Kakching vs IYA Kakching
The one sided match saw UCC leading by 2 goals from M Suraj (27') and Ksh Ronaldo (34') in the first half.
Minutes after the commencement of the second half, Ksh Ronaldo scored his second in the 52nd minute for UCC to extend the lead to 3-0.
Even as IYA were looking for a consolation goal, UCC scored two more from Kh Dinesh (73') and N Vero (80+3') to end the match 5-0.
