MU names men's football squad

IMPHAL, Nov 4 : The Department of Sports, Manipur University has announced the men's football squad for the year 2024-25 following the selection trial held today.
The names of the players, who will be representing MU at the East Zone Inter University Football Tournament, 2024-25 are as follows.
Goalkeepers : N Dikesh of KKC and N Yaiphaba of KPC;
Defenders : T Angomcha of NLSC, P Zidane of KMC, G Bobyson of BMC, S Johny of MU, Renedy of Imphal College, A Naoba of Regional College and E Suranjoy of BMC.
Midfielders : Y Mahesh of Pravabati College, S Surjitkumar of Mangolnganbi College, N Sanathoi of UNACCO College, Ch Lalthangchung of SEMCO, Th Sumanta of Pole Star College, M Arvind of Thambal Marik College, Ph Arora of NBC and M Devraj of KMC;
Forwards : Md Samir of KMC, T Brucelee of NBC and Th Krishnakanta of KKC.
7 reserved players including- AK Thomas (GK) of Standard College, M David (MF) of NBC, Ng Telheiba (MF) of Liberal College, Th Ronaldo (DF) of CIC, M Dinesh (DF) of KMC, E Birendrakumar (F) of KKC and Md Salman (F) of KMC, were also declared in addition to the 20-member squad.
The selected players should report to the office of the Assistant Director of Sports, MU on November 6 by 10.30 pm for coaching and further directives, said an office order issued by the Assistant Director of Sports.
