IMPHAL, Oct 31: Goulen's double helped Damjol Youth Club beat Mahamani YC 2-0 today to enter the final of the Chandel 2nd Division Football League 2024.
In the first semi-final match played today at Ziontlang Ground, Goulen scored his first goal in the 16th minute.
Mahamani YC did their best to find an equalizer, but suffered a final blow when Goulen scored one more goal in the match's 65th minute.
Earlier in the last quarterfinal match at the same ground, Chakpikarong YC beat Penaching YDC 2-1 to enter the semi-finals.
Earlystar scored the first goal of the match for Chakpikarong YC in the 17th minute before Pharhring added another in the 37th minute.
Kennish of Penaching YDC scored one in the 68th minute but the team failed to find an equalizer.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of Chakpikarong YC.
