Manipur Rowing Association announces State teams

IMPHAL, Oct 3
The Manipur Rowing Association has announced the names of the players who will represent Manipur at the 44th Junior and 7th Inter State Challenger National Rowing Championship to be held from December 1 to 6 at ARN Pune, Maharashtra.
The players who made it to the State team are as followers.
Challengers
Men : Pukhrambam Rishikanta, Thokchom Thoungamba, Salam Rabi-chandra, Sapam Dakendrajit, Oinam Seityajit, Haobijam Tomthinnganba and Mayengbam Bikramjit
Women : Laikhuram Rebina, Yumnam Priyanka, Athokpam Kalpana, Nand-eibam Priya, Pukhrambam Sandhya and Kh Bhumeshori.
Junior
Boys : Leisangbam Target, RK Bidyajit and Tongbram Ranbir
Girls : Oinam Bharati, Huidrom Malemyaima, Moirangthem Ashapriya, Philem Roni, Mayengbam Bidyarani and Heisnam Swevia.
The association also announced Dr B Anilkumar as manager and Narengbam Lakshmi and Khwairakpam Indira Devi as men's and women's coaches of the State team.
Further a 21- day non residential coaching will be held at Khuman Lampak Rowing Canal and Water Sports Complex, Takmu from October 15 to November 6, the association said.
The team will leave Imphal on November 29, it added.
