One found dead

Kakching, Oct 31: A man was found dead in a canal at Kakching Wairi Panjao Pallum Sallam, Kakching district under Kakching police station this morning.
Some people on morning walk came across the dead man and they immediately informed the police.
Later, a team of Kakching police station retrieved the body and deposited it at JNIMS mortuary.
The deceased has been identified as Dimping alias Leivon John (41) of Nenlung village, Tamenglong district but living at his wife’s place at Mantak Kom village, Kakching.
He was working at an automobile workshop at Kakching Lamkhai.
Even though the exact cause of death is not known yet, it is suspected that he met with a fatal accident.
Meanwhile the dead body has been handed over to family members after post mortem at JNIMS.
